One of Many’s journey to the USS Intrepid began at the 2026 STARFLEET Virtual International Conference (VIC).
During the conference, Captain A-J M. won the Tribble through the “Ask the Vice Commander, STARFLEET” giveaway, with the prize coming from Admiral Richard S.
Of course, a Tribble joining the crew needed a name. Members of the Intrepid crew submitted several possibilities before taking part in a chapter-wide vote.
And with that, One of Many officially became the USS Intrepid’s mascot!
🚀In-Universe Story
No one is entirely certain when One of Many first came aboard the USS Intrepid. Only that, at some point, the crew realized the Tribble had become a permanent member of the manifest.
Displaying an unusual curiosity for both medicine and science, One of Many was granted an honorary posting as a Medical/Science Officer.
One of Many has become known on Intrepid for their love and talent of:
Their name reflects the communal nature of Tribbles: One of Many is an individual, but never truly alone.
